cannot stop thinking about this alocasia I saw at a local plant nursery…I almost took her home but felt like she could smell my fear…should I go back and get her this weekend? I have never had an alocasia and they seem difficult!

    They are beautiful but they are also picky. I know from trial and error that you can’t let it get too dry but other than that, I would say read up on its care instructions and give it a try! That one is an alocasia polly.

    I say go for it! You might even surprise yourself. Sometimes we overcomplicate things, and they turn out much better than we had anticipated. Give yourself some more credit.

    This particular one is pretty chill… Alocasia Amazonia Polly. Just don’t overwater her and giver her a lil fertilizer and she should be ok. Mine is in a bright room but at the corner so it gets no direct light
