Hello, I recently got an alocascia melo. She was thriving when I took her home but after about a week shes gotten a little droopy and a leave has started to brown. Ive got her under a growlight and in a pretty humid spot. Any ideas. Ive made sure to not overwater her and she has great drainage.
grow light may be too much. what direction does that window face? what's the humidity level like? people really make alocasia seem harder than they are, mine have thrived in my west window with no extra lights or humidity other than the occasional mist.
좋아요 1개 The window faces east. She has a humidifier right next to her and theres also a fish tank next to her too
0개 좋아요 probably doesn't need the grow light. i'm assuming that's what the purple lighting is, the UV ones don't really do much anyways, plants need full spectrum. she's probably also shocking from the environment change, she'll bounce back in another week or two.
