Help! I bought this plant last week at the store. It was sopping wet when I bought her and decided I would let her dry out a bit before repotting. I like to give my plants some time to acclimate before repotting or changing soil however last night u noticed a lot of flaking, yellow/browning of leaves. No soft stems or anything she has two new leafs and a pup that look alright but I noticed some brown spots even on the new leaves that are unfurling which I figured aren’t supposed to be there. I am pretty good with my frydek however this is my first Polly and never encountered anything like this with my frydek. Any advice and tips are appreciated! Thank u all in advance 🙂

    That looks fungal. If you can, remove that leaf (remember to sterilize your cutters). Otherwise, treat the leaves with a fungicide. Neem oil or hydrogen peroxide will work. Also check for root rot and treat if needed. It was probably just overwatered at the nursery; because these are so thirsty it's easy to keep the soil too wet. A good drainage soil mix and a relatively tight fitting pot helps

      Thank u. This was a lot more helpful than Reddit, somebody said it sunburn but I know it hasn’t been in in the sun like that to even get sunburned. It’s getting indirect light and is about 2 feet’s away from the window, on a table 😭 so I knew it wasn’t sunburn if anything I know it prolly needs more light but fungal could def be it! I haven’t seen any pests and there’s no residue on the leaf. This is the worst leaf of them all sum look better than others but this one is bad 😭 the pup looks unscathed tho!
