Just got this variegated Frydek less than a month ago, and the first leaf it gave me is all white with the tiniest speck of green. 😆 To cut or not cut? That is the question.

plantgeekpersonally i would cut. i'm not a fan of my younger plants having ghost leaves, i find it makes them grow slower.

yes! i always wait for the next leaf to start popping out before i cut. if it keeps giving you ghosts, chop the stem!! sometimes they don't listen to you LOL

Mine did the same thing! but I just can’t bring myself to cut it. New leaf is coming in and it looks like it will have some color. 🤞

Fingers crossed! I’m hoping my next one does too! I hate that ghost leaves aren’t good ‘cause they’re so pretty!!
