Plant Dad

This was my first Alocasia. What started out as a plant that I almost killed in the first week has turned into this; I absolutely love her! However, the baby plants are now sprouting babies and there are corms galore popping up on the surface of the Pon. Would it harm the main plant(s) if I cut/snapped/break off the smaller plants as they pop up? Not sure how many more I can handle let alone how many more that planter can handle lol

    I regularly dig out new corms and 'pups' from my alocasia. I think i have like 6 black velvet now 😆

      Oh man, the last thing I need are more Micholitziana plants loll I have five in pots and more corms than I know what to do with. I feel bad for even saying this but the pups and corms i pick out at this point are disposable. LolI pluck out

      Totally get that lol. You could sell or give them away. I will donate some of mine to the local food bank. It's kinda easy cuz it's right down the road.

      Thank you! I have her in pon. Ambient humidity which ranges from about 40% - 75%. I use SuperThrive Foliage Pro every couple of days when I fill up the reservoir. I have the grow light abover her, however, she grows towards the window thats about 5 feet away so not sure the grow light does much though.
