I think I’m losing her. I’m so sad. I just can’t keep this one alive.

    I lost my alocasia flying squid also. I put the corm in a perlite/fluval mix and then into a self watering container and covered the nursery pot with cling wrap. That kept the humidity in. The process has been slow but there is new growth.

    Just because her leafs die doesn’t mean the plant is dead, if the rhizome (root/stem) is still good she will grow back. Just keep taking care of it like it has leaves

      And the root stem does look good so I’m gonna hold onto her

    Mine did the same, I cut the leave down and put her roots in a shot glass of water. She is growing new roots daily so I hope she comes back! I loved her!

    Alocasias go dormant during the winter sometimes! If you treat her the same as when she had leaves, she should pop back up when spring rolls around!
