Got this BEAUTY from ikea a few days ago, put it in leca like my other alocasias, and took it out today to check progress (since I know most of the roots will rot while transitioning to water). But I clearly put too much water in the pot because the bulb is rotted now!!! So mad at myself! I’ve used hydrogen peroxide to help kill the rot, and am going to let it dry for a while. Any other tips? I’m so sad! Hopefully this baby will pull through🤞🏼

    If you’re going to use the same pot, make sure you clean it out preferably with bleach. You may even have to get new LECA balls, unless you intend to clean the one you already have for your plant. Remember the bacteria from the root rot MAY be on the LECA balls as well.
