Sad time. I was hoping to get thru winter with Polly thriving and enjoying the season. But the yellow leaves are starting. Two so far. Last year she went dormant earlier than this. Currently Polly has 15 leaves and two shoots coming out of the ground. I was hoping to start spring with many leaves on her. Oh well she will be back in the spring ready to make another big show.
Good to know I did not know they hibernated. I just got one last week and she is almost my favorite

0 LikesWow! I never knew that either! Mine had 4 leaves and one by one they yellowed and died. It was winter but I thought it was dead and tossed it. 🤦🏽♀️
0 Likes Same happened to me except the roots didn’t look dead so I watered it now and then. Then either February or March I saw growth. It grew all those 15 leaves during that time with no leaf losses.
