Any idea why this newest leaf is yellowish/green? I’ve had this plant for several months and it seems generally happy and is even growing another leaf. The pot has drainage and I water when the soil is dry or mostly dry. Humidity is usually about 50-60%.
Alocasias lose a leaf when a new one grows in. They don’t like to get dry so maybe don’t let it get completely dry before u water. Mine sit on a pebble tray

Do you fertilise? If not it could possibly be a nutrient factor
0 LikesI use CleanKelp every time I water in the spring/summer, but that’s all.
1 Like Yeah that should be fine, never had one of these Alos so it might hit just be hardening

My new alocasia leaves usually take 2-3 weeks (and sometimes over a month) to harden and are lighter green/more flexible until then. Definitely looks like that’s what’s happening, plant looks happy and healthy!
