Hi everyone!! Does anyone else have a tiny dancer and have any views on whether my 'Elton' looks healthy?! It's my first time with an alocasia and I think I've got a bit of a diva on my hands 💃🌱

    Huge divas. I can grow most alocasias but Tiny Dancer is difficult. Very sensitive to over-watering, low humidity and being moved in my experience. Yours looks little bit limp, maybe? Mine pictured - it’s going through a happy phase. Is humidity potentially an issue? Or, I find watering littler and more often is better than letting it dry out and then doing a bit water. Sorry not to have actual answers!

      This is helpful thank you! It was bought for me as a gift a couple of months ago. Only just seem to have got it in a place it likes. The newest few leaves have seemed healthier than the others... but yes some are definitely limp. I'll try watering little and often and misting more regularly! Thanks :)

    He’s a little leggy and may need more light. I would use a grow light light

    I have one that is very temperamental. I got down to having only 3 tiny leaves, so I tried switching to pon. So far, it’s started growing more and larger leaves. It’s slow going, but she’s definitely improving.
