I was having humidity issues with my Dragon Scale so I started using a pebble tray, haven't used one before. The water wasn't high enough to go into the pot, but this started happening and the soil is still wet after a week. I tried putting even less water but it's still happening. Is this normal or should I be doing something different?
What kind of soil is it in? Not ‘airy’ enough possibly?
좋아요 1개 I'm using a general indoor soil mixed with a bunch of orchid bark. I could probably add more aeration, but I haven't had a problem with the soil before adding the pebble tray. Does it look like the pebble tray is causing too much moisture now? Or is that normal?

Soil looks really dense. Try giving it fresh soil. I use foxfarm Ocean forest Soil mixed in with some orchid bark & pearlite

Pebble tray is pebblin' 😆 you could try taking it out of the cache pot. Basically the tray is creating humidity, that is then getting trapped between the cache pot and the plastic, causing the soil to stay too moist. So either ditch the cache, or ditch the tray and mist instead.
