    I tend to leave them be unless they start seeming crowded - just separated an alocasia odora into two pots even though I repotted her earlier this year because a bunch of the new growth was looking sad and drooping. I have another alocasia Ive just repotted every couple years for the last decade that could be multiple plants but Ive just left the babies to grow alongside the mama.
