Wow love it I have one two and can’t help but truly love alocasias
2 Me gustaThe leaves are so beautiful to me, I can’t get enough! I found lots of corms in my other two, and I’m hoping to propagate them successfully..!

I moved mine to water recently as well. I’m curious are you doing full or semi hydro? Did you strip the roots off before putting it into water or did you leave them? Would be super interested in watching more updates.
1 me gustaHi! Im guessing you peaked at the one in the background 🙈 She was a clearance rescue and unfortunately developed root rot quickly in soil, so I cleaned her off and all roots were lost. I had her soaking in a water/hydrogen peroxide mix (as seen in the photo) and then moved her to leca. She’s still standing so I think she’s gonna be okay!! I also have a silver dragon that I put in leca and it’s doing well so far! Starting to push a new leaf.
0 Me gustaI did not strip the roots on the Jacklyn or silver dragon..!
0 Me gustaDidn’t even notice the one in the background! I’m trying full hydro on the silver dragon. Black velvet. And I think rugosa. Switched them over about a week ago. They’re all doing okay. The silver dragon is about to drop two of its leaves. Have you noticed a real difference in the plants with roots vs the ones without?
0 Me gustaIt’s been in there for a week
