HELP!! My black velvet alocasia was doing great and and the past couple days is circling the drain.. she is under a grow light, 70 degrees, 65% humidity, aroid soil… I don’t know where I went wrong but no signs of pests either TIA

    Maybe the soil dried out too much? When was the last time it was watered?

      A couple days ago with fertilizer, I’ve been watering every time the soil goes dry and it’s still moist in the middle…

      You said you watered with fertilizer, could it be possible you put too much fertilizer in the water? Happened before to me, the stems got weak and it fell over. Mine wasn’t severe so I used a bit of trellis and tied it upright.

    Gonna say it needs water but also they lose the smaller leaves to make energy for new

      It’s still moist in the middle but I can try.. I mean what do I have to lose at this point 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

      If it’s moist hold off. May just be getting rid of it to make energy for new. You don’t want to overwater
