Hey everyone! This is my first Alocasia ever so I still don’t know what I’m doing. My question is that my Alocasia’s leaves keep peeling from the stem. Is that normal? When I got her I knew one of her leaves was going to fall but this one is also breaking in a similar fashion. Is there anything I can do? Is there a way for me to stabilize the leaf so it doesn’t break?

Some types of alocasia tend to lose a leaf for every new one. You can make them last longer by supporting them together (use a clip or string).

So there’s nothing wrong with her? But she hasn’t put out any new growth either.

It doesn’t look overwatered, which is good. Does that window get plenty of light? I’d say it looks pretty healthy!

This is the only place in my house right now that gets the most light. It’s not too much to the point where it’s maddening but it’s still a decent amount.

It needs to acclimate to its new environment before you see new growth. Plus it’s winter so most plants don’t grow much
