I think I just experienced my first root rot situation and now I’m starting off at square 1. I feel so bad for not taking care of her but I was trying my best🥺. First pic is now. Second is 3 weeks ago

    I have 7 corms from her as well that I’m trying to grow. Please don’t call PPS on me (plant protective services) 🌱 👮🏾‍♀️

    Aw man, that’s a doozy. Root rot can sneak up so fast, it’ll make your head spin. That’s awesome that you got some corms! Are you going to see if the mother plant can root again? I’m new to alocasia, so I haven’t had that scenario yet. Idk if they can

      Yes! I cleaned the bottom off and then put her in a little bit of water in a glass vase. Once more roots form I’ll put her in perlite. Im sure she can root again. I hope lol!
