I just got this Alocasia Sinuata Quilted Dreams a few weeks ago and it’s already lost two leaves. Only one is remaining. It’s never been repotted. I water when it’s almost dry. It did take a fall when it got hit by some strong wind while inside a mini greenhouse with other plants. I had to add more soil to the existing soil and pot. I’m sure it was a little shocked by that. Just wondering if I need to be worried? Also, what are these sprouting out? It’s not new leaves. What do you guys thinks?

They are flowers, alocasia will bloom when they are very happy or very stressed. Judging by your description I would assume it is because of the latter. It may have dropped its leaves because it is adjusting to its new environment. It can take a month or two to acclimate properly. Avoid moving it and keep your watering routine. Additionally it could also be going dormant for winter depending on your conditions.

That all makes sense and I’m keeping my fingers crossed it will bounce back. Thanks for the response!
