She’s mad at me, isn’t she?😭 She’s a silver dragon alocasia. I put her in a new pot because her old one was a little too small. Each day she gets droopier . Also her leaves are starting to curl. (Currently watering her as well).

Not sure what soil you used but I suspect the roots are staying too wet for too long after you water. Alocasia do best in a fast draining chunky soil or in a semi-hydro set up. If the roots stay too wet too long they suffocate without enough air. Good news is even if the leaves fall off it will grow new ones once the roots are in good condition.

I used indoor mixture soil with perlite
1 likeOk well if possible take it out and add 1/2 soil and 1/2 straight perilite. If you have it a handful or two of bark or clay pebbles would help as well. You know it’s chunky enough when you water it and the water drains quickly out the bottom almost right away.

Alocasia in general are very dramatic when you change pots. I purchased an alocasia polly and waited 3 months before changing pot and soil and it lost all leaves and roots. Now I have it in leca and it’s growing new roots
