Big Apple Plants

Everyone meet Loca 💚✨ (from aLOCAsia, get it? 😭) Anyway, I got her today. I’m so excited to add her to my plant family. Any care tips are greatly appreciated. As soon as I brought it home I made sure to check for pests and thoroughly cleaned the leaves with neem oil!

Ive had a time with this plant, but ive learned it doesnt like direct light and i fertilize very weakly with every watering. isolate it from ur other plants for a bit tho bc thats how i had a spider mite outbreak 😅

I use a feather duster on mine, a tip I learned from Leafy Diva on YouTube ( check out her channel for great tips) and use superthrive in my watering can. I clean with Bonide insecticidal soap every 3-4 weeks. I also like perfect plantista

I’m also confused with the name. Since Planta categorized it as a Alocasia Polly?

Ya I feel the Polly has more wavy edges if you google them. I decided to go with the ‘bambino arrow’ version as it has the most similar look and characteristics based on what I’ve read.
