Hey guys I’m trynna find out what’s going on with my alocoasia it’s been going very well until this leaf decided to turn brown I thought I was overwatering it but it continued to turn in a browner yellowish color
It could be going dormant, where in some cases it drops all leaves. if ur room isn’t getting adequate lighting or heat this could be a reason, if so try not to water it so often and try not to wake it from dormancy as it’s really good for the plant to focus on its roots :)

See I thot this as well but it was in my laundry room right on my window when this started to happen but do you think I should just take off the leaf that way it can focus on the roots itself and have a new growth
1 LikeCould it be that the soil is drying out too much then? Laundry rooms can get pretty toasty, and in some cases people end up watering more during the winter as the heating is up higher. But yes cut the leaf back and maybe invest in a grow light, especially if you’re from Europe like me where daylight hours are decreasing.
