My azlanii is pushing out a new leaf! Yay! The big green leaf has had these dots for a few months and they have stayed like that. And no, it is not thrips. I check him 2-3x per month and spray with neem oil each time. He also has systemic granules in the soil. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what it was or how I can make Nyx thrive. The dying leaf in the back was deformed when it came out so i’m not surprised it’s falling off, but a new leaf is coming from it too so I haven’t cut it.

    could it be fungus? my alocasia do best w moist soil and w indirect low light

      Not sure. It’s in a plastic pot with a more decorative one underneath so the soil is always moist but never wet. And it has a grow light because it’s lower on my shelf right next to my humidifier. The neem oil is also a fungicide, I spray 2-3x monthly.

    could be sun spots. he might be too close to your window. try misting him every so often to keep his humidity up, that helps me avoid my silver dragon's leaves drying up
