A few of my alocasias that are in leca are yellowing at the end of the leaves, it doesn’t seem to be an underwatering issue but I’m wondering if I’m overwatering/letting the roots stay wet for too long. Any thoughts/tips would be helpful! I’m new ish to using leca!
Is it like crunchy yellowing at the end of the leaves?

How long since you moved them to leca? Are you using a wick system?
0 likes I am not using a wick system. I’m wondering if this would be helpful! Most of them have been in leca for a few months now

Leca as your base substrate is very well draining, so unless you have pooling water that your Alocasia is sitting in it’s unlikely overwatering. Probably best to review self watering pots … 😀
