Does anyone else feel such a big sense of success as a plant parent (especially an Alocasia plant parent) when their plant puts out more leaves? I found this today and I’m feeling very happy and successful. I’m happy to know it’s thriving and gifting me new growth.
Absolutely! I tease my plants that they need to give me leaves! This is not free rent! Lol they need to give me gorgeous leaves!

Can you help me with my Mickey Mouse I just got him shipped in from California. Shipping was amazing he came In wonderful. But how the heck do I acclimate him to my house. He opened up a new leaf right before he decided to throw a fit the next day..I’m still trying to figure out where to put him to make him happy he’s currently half way hiding under my monestera leafs I’m at work so I can’t get a picture of him
0 J'aime This is where I had him to take a picture of him but I put him a little further under my monestera and moved my begonia back to her normal spot after her sun time
How is it doing now? Alocasia LOVE throwing a fit after putting out a new leaf and being in the new environment probably isn’t helping. Do you have a humidifier that you are using for him too?
