Humidity! If you live in an arid area, now may be the time to invest in a humidifier. Also, a good chunky soil mix to ensure they don’t sit in water. Light is critical but equally, my Alocasia have all been very heavy feeders which is typical. I put worm castings into all my soil mixes and use Liquid Gold fertilizer (though as considering something seaweed based as a test). All that said, I don’t have your particular variety. But I have two dragon scale, a giant elephant ear and a red secret, and they all want broadly the same things imho.

I will use chunky mix for sure but don’t have a humidifier and somehow all of other plants do just fine so I’m hoping I don’t need one for this guy 😂 thank you for all of the tips!! I’m nervous and praying this one isn’t TOO hard for me
