   Yes, I don't use straight fluval cuz... Sweet Toddler Jesus... that would be expensive 😆

     After Christmas, Im going to be trying out NXCplants homemade Anthurium pon mix. 4 parts perlite, 2 parts pumice, 2 part lava rock, 1 parts fluval.

   I use it for corms almost exclusively. I am currently growing some scalprum babies in a self watering pot in a mix of coco coir, perlite and stratum as seen here in this photo.

     I do the same! It’s black gold for corms, imo! I find I have the most success when I put about an inch deep layer of stratum in something clear with a lid to trap humidity- the takeout cups in the pic are perfect- add some water, pop the corm in, seal it up and basically forget about it lol. I will open the container every once in a while to get some fresh air in there. Once I have a healthy root system, I’ll repot in a mix of stratum, perlite, coco coir and fine pine bark chips. On my next repot for some of my mature alocasias, I’m considering moving some from leca to lechuza pon 🤔

   They do pretty well in the pon. I dont actually use a self watering pot though. I did have an issue with lechuza-pon. The first round was great, the 2nd round after the bag had been opened i got white mold really bad on the top, and it ended up killing one of the smaller alocasia I had repotted in it. So I sanitized the rest, and it was fine. But im going to make my own now
