I bought some black elephant ear bulbs at Walmart today and when I opened them they don’t seem right. They are kinda crunchy and dry looking and I’m not sure if that’s mold growing on them or not. I’ve never dealt with bulbs before so I have no idea if this is normal for them or not?

    To be honest, I have tried these mass-market bulbs before and I ended up with nothing. I would take them back and see if you can find a local nursery that has them (we have a great one in Atlanta).
