Hello, I’m new to Alocasias I got this frydek about two months ago maybe 2.5 months ago. She’s gotten taller and her largest leaf unfortunately died off hence the tiny nub cut off by the base of the stem. She was under a red plant light. But that isn’t helping her anymore. I don’t have a humidifier, I’m trying to find a nice affordable one. I put her by south west facing window where there’s tons of sun. How can I help her be happier and healthier?! They have become my new favourite plant and I don’t want to lose her. I’d love to take care of all the different kinds of alocasias! Please share any tips!

Don’t give up on it!! I have juvenile alocasia that do this sometimes. It can be referred to as “cycling” when they just kill their leaves off and start fresh. Her stems do look like they’re reaching far for light, so it may need a grow light or to be closer to the window
