went back for the alocasia I saw at my local plant shopđ¤ but what is the white residue on the tops of the leaves? my ficus from the shop has the same situation â almost looks like soap scum?

thank you! I wiped them off w my microfiber gloves and it seemed to help. I use distilled water w/ my plants, so hopefully it wonât come back
