Bought it with the leaf yellowing but now I’ve noticed two other leaves following along , any suggestions? . It’s in a self watering pot , soil is moist humidity is at 90%

    I’d venture to guess the self watering pot is the problem. They keep the soil wet for too long and it causes root rot and a large portion of house plants, including humidity loving plants hate them. I also just repotted my alocasia amazonica from big box soil and the root ball wasn’t even half the size of the pot so I downsized her with much better and well draining soil. Alocasias also don’t like super heavy soil they need to get a little air to their roots so a good mix of soil perlite is usually a good option.

      Just jumping in to say I also appreciate the advise! I just got a couple new alocasia plants. I suddenly just realized their beauty and how neat they are! I couldn’t resist them, and now I hope and pray I can care for them! But I’ll never know without trying so here I am taking it all in! Thanks!
