I’ve had lady Gaga for about a year and a half. She’s the first plant I haven’t killed, if that says anything. I’m now trying to build my plant knowledge, be a better plant mama and get her healthier. The first picture is last week or so, the second one is just another view today I did repot (smaller pot), adding some perlite with the soil, and watered with fertilizer after. Where do I start? Diagnoses and recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! Just got a pink princess today for a steal!! But it looks like there’s two plants, would you separate or let them cohabitate?

I'm fairly new to philodendron and am completely enraptured by them!! I have so many questions I don't know where to start so I'll just make a list. I appreciate any help or ideas. 1) when do you start training them on a pole? I have a peru and a cobra that have gone insane. The leaves look great but the long vines are naked. Do the new leaves fill in later? Is it too late to put them on poles? Will they still develop a root system along the vines? Do all philodendron grow on poles? I brought home a couple baby brasil and would like to start them right away. And lastly my pink princess looks great. Should I put her on a pole now as well?

I had such little hope that I would be able to save this baby, but there’s new growth! The first picture was when I got her. In complete shock and dropped all her leaves 🙃 I’m so excited! It’s been a long 4 months and she’s finally growing 🥰

Finally repotted Phil today! Made propagation clippings too. I’ve had Phil for 9 years. Brought him from Missouri. He came from one of the plants from my dad’s funeral which is ironically one of his favorite plants. I have been through hell and back and this plant made the journey with me. This year he started completely new growth from the base, I feel like this is an excellent symbolization of a new era for me! So happy to have been able to make this lil guy happy again.

Help. My philo dropped almost all her leaves. Saw another post had same problem. Recommend cut prop. Would you cut put in water or pin to soil at nodes, not cut. Thanks. In west facing window soil moist.

Any PDX plants peeps here? I’d love some recommendations for plants shops and maybe even arrange some local group thing/plant meetup/swap. Plant pic of my ugly pink princess that just got the coolest new mini leaf after I had to chop her and put her on a pole. Anyone else have a vicious love-hate relationship with their PPP?

Hi I need help identifying two plants. They are marked a pink princess and black cherry princess. However I think that the one marked pink princess is definitely a black cherry. I also believe that the black cherry princess is also a black cherry however I'm a little confused because it's leaves are longer pointier and thinner the other one. Does anybody have any feedback? I actually purchased a true pink princess philodendron at the nursery the other day and I added a picture of what that looks like here. After doing a lot of research on the differences between pink princess and black cherry, I'm convinced that I have two black cherries and one pink princess. Thoughts?

Any recommendations on how to make sure your variegations produce more variegated leaves than not? Might be a silly question since it’s plants

Question I am new to owning plants and I wasn’t sure if I should keep these in the same pot and if so should I add more than one growing pole??

Just bought this Pothos N’ Joy. I have it placed on a fire sprinkler pipe about 3 1/2 to 4 feet away from my bedroom window. My question is whether you guys think it’s getting enough sunlight or not.

I straight up don't understand the purpose of plant shops anymore. I went on Facebook marketplace and just randomly found ALL THREE OF MY FAVORITE PHILO VARIETIES! For like 20-30 bucks! And picked it up from a wonderful witchy woman who just ran to my car with a bag so that they don't get cold! I'm the happiest woman alive. Welcome, pink princess, prince of orange, and lil birkin:)
