Show me your pink princess 😍 I just picked my first a week or two ago. She’s just tiny now but I would love to see others and how they are maturing!
I just repotted this. I hope it’s not in too big of a pot. It’s still coming to root from a plant my friend propagated for me. Any one have any thoughts?
picked up this bad boy today. first rare philo, anyone have any advanced info or tips? also is there any difference between a white princess, knight, and warrior?
Does anyone know what this plant is? It was sold to me as a melanochrysum back in November. I got it as a plug. Now that it is starting to get bigger, I am questioning if it’s the right ID. Especially with the petioles I am getting now. Appreciate any help or clarification!
This leaf on my ppp just unfurled, will it stay this color or harden off and turn more green?
What is going on with the leaves?? I’ve been keeping an eye on the whole plant and there doesn’t appear to be anything else out of the ordinary. New leaves come in and they have no spots. But eventually spots develop. I use fish tank water or filtered well water. I use a hygrometer so it’s never over watered. It’s in a mix of potting mix, coir, perlite, orchid bark, and a little pumice. In a west facing window. I’ve researched it and have found the majority of people saying 3 things lol so now I’m coming here.
Anyone know what kind of philodendron this is. all the plant identifiers are telling me its a heart leafed philodendron but it doesnt grow the same way as them.
Is my white princess getting too much direct sun? I’m still trying to find the best spot for her- currently I placed her in a South-facing window, hours of sun but filtered by windows with UV protection (I’m told). The potential issues I’m seeing are: -The top leaves are looking more yellow green. -Some leaves have brown spots too, which I learned may be common in the white parts of the leaf. She’s been in that spot for almost 2 months. Thank you! 😊
Anyone know what kind of philo this baby is??
New leaf on my philodendron billietiae!!!
New Silver Stripe 🩶💚💛
What can I do for this baby to prevent the white from turning transparent? The leaf that’s really bad was when it was directly under the light, since then I’ve moved it away & the others seem to be okay but I feel like they could be better. These leaves were all there when I got the plant which was being grown in a greenhouse so could it also be the difference in environment?
Found this beauty at my grocery store for $6! 🌱🤩
Got this white princess at Walmart! Any ideas on how to save her. I just repotted and removed some of the really bad leaves.
I didn’t realize philos were climbers 🧐 should I be giving my red ruby a support? She’s getting pretty big and splaying out. (Hand for size ref)
Hi everyone, I love my PPP and she’s putting out new leaves quite frequently. However, they’re getting smaller and smaller and less variegated. Can anyone help? She’s not growing roots out of the drainage holes and she’s in a west facing window with sunlight at the end of the day (gradually more each day as we come in to spring). I love her and want her to do well so any guidance will be appreciated. Thank you x
Hi everyone! My white princess was my first ever plant but she’s doing a bit rough. I would be devastated to lose her. Does anyone know what I could do different to perhaps make her happier? She has new growth but loses it quickly. She’s in indirect light and about 3 weeks ago I replanted her.
Will this water propogate?
My Jose Buono has just one leaf that seems to be having an issue. I know it will not get better, but should I leave it or chop it? It’s not a lower leaf or wouldn’t even be asking. I would have just chopped it. If I do chop it off, will a new leaf grow in its place?
