Hello friends! I have been waiting months for my local plant shop to get a Philodendron ‘Bob Cee’ in & I finally got him!
He is my memorial plant to honor my soul dog, Bob, that passed in April. (this particular plant seemed fitting given the name). i’m looking for any and all recommendations to keep this guy happy, healthy and thriving! The photos attached are what he looks like right now, I did move him to a Plant stand so he’s higher up by the window.
Please, send me your words of wisdom!!!!

I rescued this plant from the clearance section at Lowe’s yesterday for $15, and I got 5 plants out of it!
Got her home, put her in a chunky soil mix, and put her right next to my humidifier. I hope she likes it here! (she’s my first ‘crawler’)

I'm frustrated with quite a few of my philos growing so quickly! I know, such a bad problem, right!?! Although, what's happening is I've needed to help them "unstick" two leaves at the same time!! I love the growth, but they're such a twisted mess right now. No matter how gentle I try to be, I accidentally damage a leaf. To help with this problem, I've grouped them together, I'll do the warm wrap, I moved a mini humidifier near them...anyone else going through this?

Another guy I didn’t think would make it. I had him down to almost nothing but a node. I can hardly keep myself from just staring at him. He is now one of the loves of my life! 🥰🥰

We got this mystery philodendron at the store today and planta has called it a prince of orange, an orange princess, and a tangerine princess. I just went with orange prince for now but I was wondering if anyone knows what it actually is? Ignore it being in the sink, we just watered it and it’s draining where it won’t drip everywhere. Also should I be worried that its newest leaf is vertical and folded itself in half?

Got this beautiful ‘El Choco Red Philodendren’ on Facebook Marketplace about a week ago and I’m waiting for it to acclimate before I repot but I’m having trouble deciding what type of soil/medium to repot it in. Any suggestions? I was reading that they like Pon so I bought some but I also have LECA, or maybe a good chunky soil mix? What would be best? Also, I’d like to add a moss pole! It’s my first time owning this plant and first time experimenting with a moss pole so kinda nervous!

Check out my gorgeous new leaf on my birkin! Following advice from the planta community, I chopped the main stem with hopes to grow new leaves with variegation (after many all white leaves popped out). Looks like it worked!

My Tortum is getting leggy and isn’t producing many leaves. I am thinking of chopping and propping but not entirely sure how to go about it. Can I cut just below the top most leaf? can I then chop that top portion into wet sticks? Or should I just propagate the entire top portion? Any suggestions welcome!

Am I crazy or is my bloody mary giving me twin leaves? Also does anyone else have issues with their leaves getting stuck in the sheath? None of my other philodendrons really have this issue! I’ve only had one other get stuck but this plant has had like 10

This Florida Ghost is my first philodendron, I don’t really know anything about them except some care. I got it Sunday and it’s been very happy here. My question for you guys is, do these things produce an inflorescence like anthuriums do? I see the thang protruding from a cataphyll but it doesn’t look like just a leaf.

I grew this gorgeous baby from a node that I didn’t know the ID of until she began to grow. Look at her now!! I’m so tremendously proud of her. I just moved her to a prime spot in the living room so that I can enjoy her all the time. 🥰🥰
