Hey there! I am new to the plant lovers world, and so excited to start this journey. I adopted this Ring of Fire yesterday, and can clearly see it’s not thriving. Too much sun? Not enough water? Thanks in advance
Hi, Any suggestions on how to approach this plant? A neighbor has had it for fifteen years and not sure what options are best related to repotting, dividing, etc... that's ahead of time for thoughts, it's outside in Florida...
❤️❤️❤️
Hi everyone! Can anyone tell me what kind of philodendron I have? The app is telling me it’s a blushing but I’m not so sure. Thanks!!!
Hey everybody! I’m new to taking care of plants and this app has been super helpful. I have a question, so I recently repotted my philodendron when I purchased it because it didn’t have holes and I’ve noticed that the center of soil seems to sit lower than the rest. Im wondering if I need to add more soil or if that’s normal for these plants. I’m adding the best picture I could take in hopes that this helps give you an idea of what I’m talking about. Thank you!!!
Repotted today 💚
new growth on my florida beauty 🤭
New philodendrons just out of quarantine!
I think my Pink Princess is losing its pink. I’ve had it for a few years and it used to be much bigger but it got out of hand so I took some cuttings and started over. It’s in an East facing window and gets lots of light. Do PP’s just stop producing pink leaves after a while?
How do I get my pink princess to give me more variation?
Finally got a full pink leaf on this pretty princess! 👑 💗
How can I encourage better growth on my Philodendron Brasil? I want it to look bushier / fuller, especially near the base!
I have a heart leaf philodendron that is growing like mad, and seems generally very healthy except for one leaf on each vine. I was gone for about ten days and my housesitter forgot to water her. Each of the leaves that is damaged was the new leaf at the end of the vine when it was allowed to dry out completely. The ones which have unfurled since that week are healthy (it's growing so fast I'm getting about two inches of vine and a new leaf every 10 days.) I'm wondering if it was the fact that she was allowed to dry out that caused the leaf damage on just those two leaves. Is that a thing? I'm constantly battling mealies and thrips on my pothos (because I collect them from outside and the little buggers hide in the crevices of the stems) so I am paranoid that it was some sort of pest that caused the damage (I don't see any though). Also, is it normal for a heart leaf to develop variegated leaves like a Brazil or is it more likely that there are two different plant species in this pot?
posting this here, hoping someone can identify the free philo i got with my birkin!
Rescued a “Painted Lady Philodendron” from Lowe’s today! She honestly doesn’t look too bad- I’m going to give her a trim, repot and see how she does!
My beautiful Philodendron is doing better now than ever!!
Hi! I have 2 propagated Velvet Leaf Philodendron's that I'm hoping to transfer to soil. I have had no luck growing this particular plant in soil in the past. Looking for advice on the best soil mixture.
Hello!!! My Heart Leaf Philo is not looking good, I’m not sure why. Here’s some background information: •I haven’t repotted for about a year (but this pot was a jump for it • I water it every week maybe more or so • It’s less sturdy but doesn’t smell of rot or look like it has rot •A lot of yellow leaves
I’ve never seen him do this before! Could the yellow leaf be from repotting stress?
