Can anyone tell me for sure what is the name of this plant? I have a Brazil philodendron but it’s different when I compared them side to side. Google is no help.

Scarlett’s glow up is insane. She was already gorgeous (she just variegated all on her own) but somehow keeps getting better.

My philodendron white princess and white wizard’s leaves open like this. They are crinkly, odd in color and dry. Is this a humidity issue or too much artificial light.. they are under barrina T5 grow light for about 12 hours. I water about once a week and they are all in a chunky soil mix. Help!

Should I be concerned about the fact that my variegated leaves keep browning? Is there anything I can do to help them? They seem to love the humidity so far I mean I haven’t had any issues but the browning. I’ve been following the watering schedule on the app and I’ve been using a grow light! Any help appreciated!

I feel like she could be doing better, what can I do to make the leaves larger she’s vining out good but I just feel like it could be better ya know. She’s in tropical soil mix realized that I was overwatering her now I’m not watering as much as I was.

Anyone have any idea why those two smallest leaves are SO light? I thought maybe a root problem was happening, so I just put her in a new pot and her roots looked great. I would say it's an overwatering issue but if anything, I underwater. I just don't want them to die, she's been doing SO well lately

Thought I’d share this fun before and after. From August 7, 2024 to September 10, 2025! This philodendron is ATLEAST 10-12 years old (and so was the soil). I took it from my childhood home before it was sold. Last summer my boyfriend did an emergency chop and this summer I finally had the courage to repot it (roots were easily 5-6ft long) - finally seeing the payoff! 😋💚

I have always treated these 2 Philodendrons differently- I thought the one on the left is a Black Cardinal and the one on the right is Imperial Red. I have been reading some articles about each and now I am not sure if they are truly what they are based on the label when I purchased them. I need help. Is the on the left truly a Black Cardinal and the other Imperial Red , or are they both Imperial Reds or both Black Cardinals?

My imperial green philodendron was doing wonderful, but then I moved him and he hasn’t produced any leaves since I noticed there’s a little bit of growth starting but literally all summer long There was nothing. Is this normal ? Do they have a tendency after a little while to go into respite? It’s kind of weird that he would do it during the hottest months though ? no ? Also he’s got this really long stem I wouldn’t do it now because I live in Saskatchewan Canada and it’s gonna be winter in the next couple months but should this be cut and then maybe put in water and let roots grow ? then put in soil a little later or is this normal?

This white knight I got recently has very sparse roots - is this normal? It came in a 4in nursery pot and I’ve had it for just over a month but the soil seems to take a long time to dry out compared to my other philodendrons. Should I still keep it in soil or put it in water until the roots are stronger?

Hi! I’m super new to the plant game and made a friend at a local nursery. She gave me 4 clippings and totally told me what they were in the moment- but I was so excited I blanked and have no clue what I’ve got now. I did my best to guess and used ChatGPT a bit, but can anyone confirm I have these labels right? I’m pretty sure my pink princess is correct but the others… I have no idea 😂 thanks!!
