Hello! I got a new white princess philodendron, not realizing they are considered a harder to care for plant. I’m still fairly new to caring for plants, and would love any advice!
Does anyone have a philodendron deltoidium aka lazorii aka Frits-wentii? It’s not listed in Planta and wondering which philodendron care I should follow.
I was told that I should get a moss pole for my philodendron, but saw something where someone used a bamboo stick instead… does this look okay? The twist ties aren’t tight on the plant. Also, there are these little spot thingies on the stems. Is that normal?
I am planning to move my pink lady to a pot from a propagation cup. What soil mix do you suggest? What size pot? Thank you in advance.
what philodendron is this
philodendron white knight or philodendron white wizard
I know she is just a baby, when she arrived in the mail a week ago she only had three leaves. Since then she has put out three more!! This Brazil has been on my wishlist for so long. I love the vibrant colors of the yellow and green. What is your guys favorite, and post a pic in the comments! I’d love to see yours.
I recently rescued a few plants from my boss! I’m thinking this little guy might be a pink princess in dire straights, what do you guys think? My boss said she never really had it around any good light sources, and she was gifted it so she isn’t 100% sure!
I ordered a starter Pink Princess Philodendron from a grower on Etsy today and I’m SO excited. I’m gonna name her Valentine and call her Val LOLL although, when she comes she’ll need to be re-potted and although I have experience with more grown Philodendron plants, I do not have experience with re potting younglings. Soil type? Pot size? Rare plant experts, please help!!
who wants to see a pic of my silver sword philodendron bloom
My first philodendron <3 Haven’t thought up a name yet
I bought these pink princess’s from Home Depot a couple weeks back, and noticed the odd but beautiful dark red/red variegation on some of the leaves. Has anyone ever seen this before?
After a nice long wait my prop has strong roots and a new leaf unfolding 🙃🙃
I am trying to save my philodendron Brazil from dying. During the winter I moved and the plant got damaged and stressed. Then we don’t keep our house warm enough for it and I couldn’t find a sunny window for it, I think was the last straw. So I read that to propagate this plant you just need at least two leaves and a node joint. Well, mine did have all of the but but when I put them in want for a couple of days, the leaves start to die, no roots grow, and something starts growing on the cut ends and the joints. It put them in plain tap water. Can anyone please help? I’m afraid I have lost my plant completely. Before cutting up and getting rid of all the bad spots before repotting I tried to turn the stem back down into the soil to grow roots but it didn’t do it there either.
I have two philodendron black cardinals, one traditional and one “Carmel” variety (?) from my local conservatory. I was adding a moss pole to my PPP the other day and had extra material and set them both up with one. Now I am wondering if that was the right decision and if they’ll like the support and moisture or if I should take out the poles. Any guidance is welcomed, I should have asked before I did it in hindsight lol!
This is my pink princess, I’ve had her for a several months but I’ve just started noticing some of her leaves are drying up at the ends and there isn’t any pink on the newest leaves. Any tips to help her would be much appreciated.
My white wizard has what seems to be little worms and some little bugs what should I do to remedy this ?! New plant mom please help 🙃
Learned a hard lesson today and trying to keep my cool. I thought I was helping my pink princess and broke off the newest leaf. Will a new leaf eventually still come out the broken one? Reminder to not let curiosity win otherwise this will happen 😭
My Philodendron Lynamii has flowered! My favorite philo! Looks a little like a handmaid from “The Handmaid Tale”. What do you think? 😂
My baby philodendrons seem to be pretty happy in their new zone. The ring of fire has a new leaf unfolding, and both of the golden crocs have some new growth points! I’ve only had them for a few months but these are my first new signs of growth.
