Is it normal for my philodendron micans leaves to look like this when they unfurl. Sorry for the quality
I know it doesn’t look like much yet but I’m sooo beyond excited for this first leaf on my Florida Beauty x Mayoi hybrid cutting!!😍 Definitely a welcome leaf after I lost a golden dragon cutting to persistent rot. I wasn’t able to beat the rot progression despite my best efforts and techniques 😮💨 But this prop has great roots and popped that leaf so quickly after I got it 🥰💚
Hi guys! My mum bought this for my graduation gift. It was super long (and sort of straggly) and had two sets of roots growing out of different parts. I separated the plant into two by separating the root system. Ever since, she has been sad looking. I did this about a week or two ago. Since then I’ve fed her houseplant growth and watered her enough to not over do it (she is currently in a pot with no drainage, but I have not been overdoing it on the water i don’t think). She’s still green and is currently producing a new leaf, however I feel like her leaves feel sort of leathery and lethargic. They just look limp. Any feedback would be amazing. I love this plant!
Hoping for some help with my Philodendron Green Congo Variegated. It just got a new leaf, but also is browning. My guess is not enough humidity, but open to other thoughts!
Hey all! A friend just got this plant and needs help identifying it! Thoughts?
This No ID philo is finally putting out a few leaves. crazy looking
I am both amazed and intimated by this plant 😅 Is it possible to propagate this because the stems look crazy!
Love the color of the new leaves from this Orange you Gorgeous!! It’s making up for the fact that I still haven’t bought a pumpkin. 🎃
Was hoping for help to id this plant. Planta says oak leaf, but Google says florida ghost. Neither seem quite right to me. Thanks
Two new girlies joined my jungle today: a Painted Lady and Pink Princess! 🩷💚 Excited to watch them grow and hoping for more pink!
Is this a flower or just a new section waiting for a leaf?
Hey hey, I got this “fancy philodendron” on sale for $7 at Walmart today and I’m trying to figure out what it is. It gives the impression of a birkin, but the stripes and petioles have a distinct pink to them. A deep dive online found the OG grower where they call it a “philo. pink bikini,” but the lack of info anywhere else online makes me feel like it’s just a marketing ploy. Any thoughts or specific care?
Can you ever have enough philodendrons? Yea I did separate that one it turned out to be 4 white princesses!! I’m sure Meredith has at least two more I want them to get a bit bigger before I separate 🩷💚🤍
My birkin decided he was tired of just making stripes so he decided to change it up
Happy Philodendron Lemon-Lime! First variegated leaf!!
Anyone have suggestions for slowing/preventing the browning of the white parts of leaves? I’ve got a white knight who’s healthy otherwise, but I’m now sad to see leaves pop out with any white patches because I know they’ll just go brown
The newest babies: a White Wizard, Prince of Orange, and Pink Princess, I think.
My current view in my office. They are growing and thriving thanks to Planta! I’ve killed every single plant before.
Appreciating my White Wizard. Any tips on how to get more variegated leaves?
