Does anyone know what kind of philodendron this is? It looked unwell so I got it for $5. Had it quarantined for 3wks now because I don’t want it around my other plant babies until I know what’s wrong with it. I’m getting close to throwing it out tho 😬 it isn’t showing signs of improvement, but is unfurling new leaves. I checked for pests etc
Growing my baby philo collection! I have a baby PPP on the way too. My husband got me all the little philos in the colored plastic pots. I officially have a Moonlight (self watering pot), Ring of Fire (black square pot), Variegated Burle Marx (yellow pot), Mint Florida Beauty (green pot), Dark Lord (purple pot), Cherry Red (pink pot), and a White Princess (white pot). I can’t wait to see these little guys grow up!
Does anyone know how to prop (in h20) a Philodendron Pink Princess? All info/tips appreciated. I want another one but they are very expensive!
Was just admiring the solo all-white leaf on my white princess. It’s already pushing out the next leaf, which looks all green, so nothing to fear. The pink petiole and vein is something else, huh? 😌 Meanwhile the stem growth pattern looks like a mutant creature lol
Ok, time for advise/a vote! I have this magnificent Florida Ghost and I am wondering what to do with it!?! I want it on a moss pole, but wondering… is it a plant that went 2 directions and I should put it on 1 pole or do we think it’s 2 plants and I could do 2 poles?! Or would it be ok if 1 and I cut it into 2?! I’ve never had one before and am not sure what would be best! Thanks!
Can you show me pictures of your mature white princesses? I’m conflicted and considering getting rid of mine because I just don’t love it like I thought I would. Maybe because I don’t have it on a pole or it’s because it’s still young? Idk I’m just not super happy with mine even though it’s been consistently putting out new leaf back to back as of lately.

what do you suggest for potting a ring of fire? mine is still in the nursery soil and it’s definitely holding way too much water. should i look into leca? sphagnum moss? just bite the bullet and make a homemade mix? i’ve got dr earth’s potting mix and cactus mix at home but i’m not sure they’re the right choice :/
She was sold to me as a possible tri because she used to have a bottom leaf that she lost that had a smidge of pink in it.. I am SO happy to see another new leaf with a little pink on there!!
Idk what is going on with my Birkin! I am getting lots of new leaves that open all white and turn brown before they turn green! Only watered when dry and in a south/southwest window.
Hey! My Birkin has never done this. The new leaf is more brown than it looks in the photos. Any ideas of what’s going on?

Can anyone explain what these little dots are??😭 there’s even one on the brand new leaf that hasn’t completely opened yet😭 I haven’t noticed any pests and tbh I took a little extra time before watering this time - I’ve had it for months and it’s shot up so I’m confused what these are😭
Just an update on my Billie!!! 😍 she’s coming alive now and seems to have acclimated to my grow spot so well!! She’s moving so much ! I’ve been struggling finding a moss pole for my climbers so today is the day I think I’ll try to make my own!
My philodendron kids 🥹 my partner got me the Prince of orange and the ring of fire recently. I’ve had my pink princess for 2 months she’s given me 2 new leaves and beautiful variegation. My bipennifolium has given me back to back new leaves all growing season so far (3 now). Love them 🥹🥹

Okay guys. I accidentally broke off my new leaf on my PPP. It was very new growth and it broke down into the sheath of the last leaf that grew out. Will it still grow more leaves from here? Is there anything I can do to help it?
Should I clip the top to help growth? Im really new to this and would like any advice you have. I’m not even entirely sure what type it is but it’s my favourite.
