So here it is. We are selling our house and moving into a travel trailer. I’m really worried about my plants as we travel. I have several window to put plants in and my low light philodendrons and pothos will be in the bathroom where we have a great sky light. I suggestion on traveling with my plants?

I picked up this pretty thing today. it’s labeled as just Philodendron. Can someone tell me what kind it is so I can take good care of her? I am still learning the varieties of Philodendron. I bought it at Lowe’s so of course no one there could help me.

Hey! So I’ve had this philodendron (ring of fire?) for a short time after trying to save it. I’m hoping to eventually put it in my gecko enclosure if I can figure out how to save the poor thing. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks! It’s currently in quarantine (which started like 3 days ago) so I can keep an eye on it for any pests before putting it in my gecko’s enclosure. So it’s staying nice and moist in the bin I currently have it in.
Got a new baby on clearance at HD today! The tags said "golden girl" and "golden ring of fire," but I'm not sure if that's correct. I love it regardless!
My yoga studio owner let me take cuttings off this plant. I assume it's a philodendron but I have no idea what kind. Let me know if you know and wish it luck propigating successfully! Tips appreciated. 😀
This is the first time I’ve ever ordered a plant online meet Peach my Pink Princess and Kismet my White Wizard which I got for free because I actually ordered a White Knight and they sent me a White Wizard and then told me they had no White Knights in stock and so they sent me my money back which worked out totally fantastic :D My only concern is this app keeps telling me that they’re too far away from a window, but I don’t think so because I have sky lights and a wall of south windows so I think they’ll be OK. What do you guys think? Also, I have them on some pebble trays and around other plants because I really want to keep them healthy. I keep reading that they like a lot of humidity so I also have a humidity metre beside them just to make sure it’s extra moist. If anyone has any extra tips for these beauties I would love any advice. I keep reading that the White Wizard is or I guess can be more sensitive than the pink princess can be when it comes to watering and sunlight.

This leaf just fell off my philodendron. The rest of my plant seems happy. I just came back from a week vacation. So maybe it’s from something related to that.
Do you all think a heart leaf philodendron would do well in a low light bathroom that has a shower (meaning it would get a lot of humidity nightly from being in there)? The bathroom has a dehumidifier in it out of necessity so the Phil wouldn’t be in constant high humidity. I have props from my two Phils that I’m wanting to put in a different room besides where the others are.
A week ago, Fil sprouted this long, white, spindly leaf. I was mentally preparing to prune it off, then it opened into the most beautiful half-moon. Little man is thriving!

I quite literally don't understand this 😂 I got this white princess philodendron cutting from my aunt back in February and it's been pretty slow growing. I'm not concerned about that, he has 2 new leaves since I got him and he's currently trying to put out another leaf but this is just ridiculous. Instead of growing off at the bottom, he's decided to grow from the top through the smallest leaf on the plant. I don't understand him but he's happy 😂

Okay. I’ll admit my total ignorance. 😬🤪 I saw a plant that looked GORGEOUS!! I’m a sucker for unusual variegated plants. I saw that a seller I’ve had good experiences with was selling a…Pink Congo Philodendron. No. I hadn’t heard anything about that plant before. Yes. When I saw the photos I wondered how a plant with that many light colored leaves could survive. But I thought maybe the pink had more chlorophyll than white or cream. It arrived today. She IS gorgeous! But as I was doing some more (admittedly belated) research on the ‘Pink Congo’ I learned that this particular plant is artificially treated with something (some folks say it’s ethylene) which creates the pink color. But the plant will always revert to just green once those treated pink leaves are done. Lesson learned. To the tune of $70.00. 😳🫤 Moral of the story is to do your research BEFORE you buy the plant. I’ll just enjoy her while she’s lasts, then I’ll enjoy my green philodendron. 😬🙄
So my Florida ghost is putting out these leaves but this one looks NOTHING like the other leaves that came from the plant. The rest are the signature kinda shape for the Florida ghost. Is that normal? I thought the older growths usually had more pronounced leaves?
