Had to share because I’m so excited. The leaf is pretty small but my baby PPP just put out this beautiful half moon. Hope she puts out more!

Question: Ihave this pink princess and I’m just kind of letting her do her thing. She’s now gotten quite tall and is starting to wrap around the bookshelf she’s beside. Should I cut the top off so she bushes out or should I let her keep growing? Also, any tips on how to get her more pink would be amazing!

Is this a Prince of Orange or a McColley?

Micans are definitely the autumn vibe 🍂

I think this is a McColley’s Finale, but haven’t been 100% sure. She has one orange leaf and is unfurling a pink one😍😍

I’m having a heck of a time determining if these are Wizards or Princess. Two in the blue pots are from the same mother plant and were said to be White Wizards. The other was from a different plant and said to be White Princess. However, I don’t see ANY pink on the stems and there are leaves that look similar between them. ???

i’ve been curious about something recently—when i look at listings for pink princesses, i see some that are just listed as ppps and some that are listed as “marble galaxy” princesses, with the variegation being more splashy. is the marble galaxy a fully fledged variant of the pink princess, or is it just a mutation that happens sometimes? OR is it just that the variegation happens to be splashy, and it’s fully possibly for a “marble galaxy” to put out standard ppp variegation? i don’t know much about the specifics of variegation but this has been on my mind a lot recently lol

Got the plant I’ve been dying for today. It’s safe to say I’m in love

This philodendron keeps getting taller and is growing beautifully. However, the stem at the bottom is weaker than towards the top. It appears the more it grows, the thicker stems and more of them, which causes it to start to tip over. What should I do? Should I propagate the thick parts? I’m not sure how to deal with it.

hi all! i need some advice right now. so all of the rooms in my apartment have west-facing windows. i like to put my plants that like bright indirect light the best closer to the window (so my philos and my carnivorous plants). i’ve also been considering getting a hanging window plant shelf setup so i have more places to put my plants (i seem to have a taste for plants that prefer more light..) the thing is that winter is coming soon (i live in zone 6), and when my apartment building turns the heat on it gets VERY warm at night and us residents can’t really dial the heat up or down because it’s a little janky 💀 and i prefer having some cool air when i sleep so even in the coldest months i usually sleep with my window cracked open to let some air in. obviously that wouldn’t be a great situation for my plants next to the window, given that they all need warmer temperatures. will my plants still be getting enough light if i move them farther from the window, and will that be far enough so that they don’t get shocked by a little cool air? i’ve included pictures of my room—if i moved them it would be to the right of my desk, under the right set of shelves. i could also put them on the other side of my room, on the nightstand or shelf next to my bed. the incoming cold months are stressing me out so much lol..

Does anyone know why that middle leaf is growing differently than the rest of them? It’s kind of translucent, but otherwise seems healthy has been growing relatively fast. Is this because of something that I’m doing wrong or is it normal?
