I picked up this black cardinal philodendron from a local plant store. They had been treating it for spider mites. I brought it home and repotted it 1 week ago. I am awaiting a grow light because it think it’s current location is too dark. South facing windows about 15 feet away. Any tips on helping this plant recover and survive? It’s looking pretty pathetic. Should I trim the wilted leaves?

Hi I’m new to philodendrons! I got a neon about a month or more ago, it was dropped on the floor by accident and all of its leaves fell off and it’s now basically starting from nothing. I haven’t seen any progress or any changes. Is it even possible to bring her back?

This is one of the $10 hanging baskets I got off the discount rack at Lowes about a year ago. It’s a Philodendron Brasil. It gives me a lot of joy.💕 I had to solve the irregular watering that gave it both edema and partial dehydration. Plus, it was getting full sun on the discount rack causing the leaves to pale. It recovered over last winter. It gets north west light in the summer. It gets filtered south facing light in winter. 🪴

Okay so I'm not at home at the moment. Feel free to look thru my page for it, but I do need help. My black gold philodendron hasn't grown since I've had it. Every time it has tried, the leaves have browned. Is this a humidity issue? Should I fertilize? I have moved the grow light since this picture over my Chinese money plant and it gets it from the same light as well, just a lil further back so it isnt as intense. I regret cutting it in half, but I unfortunately did. I just need help as this is one i rly wanted to thrive..

Growth progress of my Philodendron Cream Splash. I got it July 2023. I repotted it a month later to a 6 inch pot. It practically raised itself with regular watering and timed release Osmocote fertilizer. It gets northwest direct sunlight after 5 in the afternoon. It’s in bright shade the rest of the day outside.

ID assistance needed, please 😁 I for the life of me can n o t figure out what Philodendron this is! All the tag says is 10” Philodendron.

I’m thinking it’s time to repot my blushing philodendron. I’m wanting to stake it at the same time to aid it growing more upright. Any thoughts or suggestions? This is my first philodendron of this type.

I feel like a lot of my more variegated leaves tend to bleach pretty fast, any way I can prevent that?? I’ve heard silica helps— any thoughts?

New to philos, but picked up this pretty ‘misc’ variety from Walmart yesterday that appears to be generally healthy and trying to figure out what she is. The app keeps giving me results that look nothing like it lol - I’m thinking Ring of Fire - am I close??

I’ve had these two birkins for a few years and recently many of the new leaves won’t uncurl. I’ve also noticed brown spots on most of the older leaves. I get about 1 new leaf a month on each. Should I prune the curled leaves and leave the ones with spots? Also thinking that my pots may be too large. Thoughts?
