Can I please get some help with an ID? I have been searching for over a week and can not figure out what she is.

Heyy I got this Pink Philodendron for my birthday and I really don’t want it to die. Would anyone be able to help me? She was inside with a grow light and I think I over watered her. The weather has gotten warmer so I out her outside in the shade hut she is still dying not sure what to do. I chnaged her soil as well bc it was orchid bark. I got a soil for her specifically and put a pole. Please help😭

Hey! So lately I’ve been noticing a weird discolouration on my philodendron ring of fire’s stem, where the stake I am using to hold it up is touching it. It is silvery tan compared to the normal green of the stem, and has only been there for a few weeks and seems to be getting bigger. However, the plant and stem still seem perfectly healthy otherwise, and the area isn’t squishy or anything. I think it might just be an abrasion/the stem getting woodier where the stake is rubbing on the stem, but I wanted more opinions in case it’s something dangerous. (Ignore the brown injury spots, they are from before I even got the plant over a year ago.)(also included picture of woodier part of stem for comparison)

Anyone have any suggestions on how to make this plant happier💔 it just keeps popping out baby leaves🥹

okay so i got this spiritus sancti a little bit ago, and it’s given me one huge leaf. but on this huge leaf, there’s patches of lighter colors. i’m confused, because it wasn’t labeled as variegated at the store i got it from, and it doesn’t seem to have enough variegation to be a variegated version. is it just odd patches of less chlorophyll? or did i get super super lucky and snatch a $10,000 for thirty 😭😭 im pretty sure it’s just odd discoloration, but it doesn’t hurt to ask other people let me know what you guys think

The newest leaf on this Rojo Congo rotted and fell off. She was just repotted so I’m assuming shock. But does anyone have any other thoughts? She’s in front of a grow light and near a humidifier.

Okay talk to me. I’m stepping nervously into my next stage of plant caretaking knowledge. I’ve spent the last 2-3 years going from killing every single plant to: - can I keep this small handful of plants alive? - I don’t care how cute the pot is. I’m not buying it if it doesn’t have a drainage hole. - Okay, let’s try fertilizing. - OK touching the new leaf that’s unfolding is clearly a no-no because now it’s in my hand, broken off from the plant…… - learning that 24/7 grow lights is not great (and honestly, I should’ve known that one because hello it gets dark at night…) 🤣 - propagating and learning more about water and humidity and temperature. And now I’m moving onto the soil questions step. I feel like a lot of my plants could really do better if I understood the soil more. I started with just potting soil, I recently purchased a succulents and cactus soil. But that’s about where I am at. I don’t like when my soil looks really damp or moldy when I’ve barely watered it. Or roots that look dead when I don’t understand why. I’ve recently killed THREE BRAND NEW pothos/philodendrons because apparently I got too cocky or they were lemons or I don’t know, but two of them were my special 40th birthday present to myself and I AM NOT happy with myself. Those particular losses were felt harder. 😭 I kind of have a separate post that I’ve been trying to work on for awhile with ALL my Pothos and Philos questions but I don’t have the energy for that right now. 😁 I’m hoping to get two things answered. 1) out of all of these items I’ve looked at on Amazon, which ones do you all mix together to make your own special soil mixtures? I’m hoping I don’t actually have to purchase every single one of these. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And 2) if the answer is not the same as #1, which of these items do you mix together just to put into the plastic moss pole? I have my philodendron silver sword on a store bought moss pole, and I had absolutely no idea how to use it. It wasn’t until I watched videos like a week ago where people were using the plastic containers filled with moss, and explaining how the aerial roots will literally grow into the moss that I realized I knew nothing. My plant is twisty tied to the moss pole y’all. 🤣🤣🤣 “oh it’s hollow down the middle so that you can pour water in there? That’s news to me.” Ugh I embarrass myself. 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

What is this philodendron? I bought it at HD about a month ago. It was sold by Vigoro. I have Burke Marx varg. and a juvie Paraiso V. but it doesn’t look exactly like them

Just found this beauty at Walmart for $7!!! Ahhh they had so many Phildendrons to choose from but this one was GORGEOUS!! Happy plant mama!!

This thing was barely holding on when I got it. Now seems to be doing good!! And has little babies popping up! Tips for keeping it upright?? Just a taller support stand? What about moving it inside and out as the weather gets warmer?

I just scored this absolutely stunning Philodendron Birkin yesterday at Target….. 🥲🥹 I named her Lucky because I feel so lucky to have found such a beautiful, firm plant with new growth forming. She was in a 6 in planter and I moved her up to 8 today. Ready to see this baby thrive 🤩

Legit cried before chopping down my three year old pink princess. She hit my ceiling and needed a chop. To be honest, I didn’t know what I was doing when I first got her. The goal is to prop and regrow with better soil, support, and overall care so she grows bigger and better than ever. Just had to share with people who understand. My friends all think I’m silly.
