The best moss poles I have found are from a small shop called Rousseau Plant Care. My philodendrons love them!! He has some grow systems that are awesome as well!!

So I’m concerned for my philo. She’s a white knight, and she used to grow in so big (you can see with the older leaves). I had a pest problem, I believe were either spider mites or thrips from another plant, and treated her. But now she has these brown spots. Shes had them for a few months now, ever since the original issue, but now her leaves are smaller and don’t feel like they’re growing in right either. However, this could’ve also been because it was winter, dry in my house and just now getting warmer + humid. Should I cut off these brown spotted leaves that have it the worst? Should I wait and see now with her new leaf about to come in if it’ll grow like before? Any advice welcome!

I’ve had this plant for about 6-9 months now, it seems to be growing well but my leaves are growing smaller then the original leaves at the bottom. Can I get some advice on how to help grow the leafs to its true size

I was able to get three plants from one! Mama, her pup, and a propagation I’m growing from her topmost leaves to help with her balance while I find her a trellis. I’m trying to figure out what species of philodendron they are now. I gave that they’re heart leaf philodendrons in the app, but I’m not totally convinced.

I noticed this on my plant the other day by the petiole. It looks like new leaf growth but it isn’t growing in correctly? Could it be low humidity?

This philodendron has grown significantly since I first got it and now im thinking that it would be a good idea to chop it and then propagate part of it. Where is the best place to chop it to get a propagation? I also noticed a small plant growing, and I believe that it is also growing a pup but I’m not sure?

What are these brown spots all about? This plant is otherwise healthy, I have it in a great location, I checked the soil before watering, and I have noticed several new leaves lately. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I know there isn’t much I can do about this but it is annoying. This plant constantly pushes out new leaves alongside another new leaf that is still working towards unfurling. This results in bruising/damage to the leaf due to the pressure/force from the new leaf forcing its way through (see the two leaves that got damaged)

I just got one of my dream plants and I’ll admit I’m panicking. I got it maybe two weeks ago and suddenly noticed this. This is my first philodendron so I’m not sure what to do with this kind of leaf damage.

Just got a variegated philodendron melanochrysum which has been the top plant on my wishlist since I started collecting, any tips? I’m planning on getting it on a moss pole asap but want it to acclimate to my house first, I will also be having it in a small greenhouse as I’m they require high humidity. Also my normal chunky soil mix is standard potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark. I will be fertilizing with a liquid concentrate.

I got this Gloriosum Snow Leopard as a rehab today! Open to any recommendations on her care. Should I cut some leaves off? Just wait and see what happens? I jut put her in my office/plant room which has about 65% humidity. I can make room in my cabinet for 80%+ if needed. Help! ⚠️

I promised myself that I would not exceed 200 plants and if I got another plant I would have to get rid of one. So I’ve started taking plants to work and giving them away. Any plants that no longer bring me joy for whatever reason, or props from my momma plants that have gotten too big, I will choose as a gifted plant. 😊 Coworkers are making out!! These are some of them that have been gifted and still need to give away two more to keep my promise. 😉

Hey friends I just rescued this philodendron xanadu from my local grocery store. It’s got some yellow splotches on the 2 biggest leaves is this a cause for concern? It otherwise seems healthy, no visible pests just yellow spots
