It looks like Philodendron Choco Empress is putting out another very large leaf. This Empress is getting way too large-mostly wide. She has her own spot at the top of plant shelves.

So apparently Billie is going to give me 2 new leaves. Not sure how I only saw one. I didn’t even notice the one with the actual leaf on it haha I only noticed the taller stem

The soil doesn’t look too great on my pink princess. I bought it small in August 2025. It’s been growing okay or so I think at least, but wondering if I should repot it? This is the first indoor plant I’ve had pretty much so I don’t know a ton!! Thanks so much!

My white wizard has been growing for about 1.5 years and is doing well :) It’s put out 4 new leaves since the start of summer Should I chop it and propagate the top come spring time???

hi! i’m new to this whole plant parent thing and have been trying to take care of this beautiful philodendron brasil! some of its new stems are dying off for some reason (e.g., top right) and i’m not sure why. can anyone help?

It was time to water her. But in a last second decision, I repotted her. Same size pot, but a clear one so I can see what’s going on. I did mix in some orchid bark and a little bit of my soil mix to add more drainage as the soil I received her in always stayed to wet for my liking. Here’s the before and after. I probably shouldn’t have done it, but it’s too late now haha

~6 months into my houseplant obsession (my life raft since a traumatic breakup in April) & I have made my first moss pole!!!! I got a good sized Burle Marx Philo for $14 on marketplace and boy, look at those roots reaching!! I have been worried about needing to train a plant, like a Pothos, to climb, but clearly this Burle is begging for it. I am so excited for this new step in my plant journey. It feels like a deeper commitment to the plant itself; I now have the means & skill to encourage my other climbers. Neem oil smells funny but it also smells like no pests! Moss poles look ugly but also look like a trust fund. Thanks for being here.

this is kinda a “keep or throw” situation for me right now. i have a baby named pickle, not really sure if planta is correct on what type of philodendron it is so i call all my plants by their names. THE QUESTION IS.. do i keep this freak of nature or send it off on a vacay forever…
