I guess you could say I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. A quick trip to Home Depot to grab a Birkin and a Rojo Red, I feel sooo much better! 😇🥰😇

Before I purchase, can anyone tell me if this is actually a pink micans? Google is giving me mixed information on whether or not this plant is chemically treated to make it pink or if it’s something that with bright enough light will stay pink.

Hi all repotted this little beauty about a month ago. I did add holes on the bottom and I even have a try for the water to go to for drainage. I make sure to empty it so it’s not sitting in water. But I’m now seeing these yellowish leaves. What am I doing wrong? It doesn’t feel over water on the top. I mean the soul is moist but not like it’s all wet. I haven’t watered it recently. I do mist it and I kind of follow the tips from the site. It sits in these hold pots. Please help. She’s my first plant and I don’t want to loose her. I’m supposed to do liquid fertilizer today.

I’m not convinced this is a Xanadu.

Just completed another chop and prop of P. splendid. First pic is June 2024 when it arrived, second is the bottom leaf pre-chop next to the newest leaf, which measures 17”. Honestly doesn’t even slow down in winter; easily my favorite philo. Biggest con is that it has long internodal spacing so it needs chop and extends every 3-4 months, but I’d way rather that than a super slow grower any day.

This is the first leaf on my florida beauty to look like this. Hopefully the one behind it will be the same.

I picked up a few cuttings at a plant show over the summer and they were marked philodendrons, and the leaves sort of look the same so I planted them together and as it’s grown clearly, it’s not the same species of philodendron. Can anyone identify these two for me?

how do i get bigger leaves out of my philodendron ring of fire? it’s been nonstop popping out smaller and rolled up leaves that wont unfurl… any tips? i water it once a week and give it plant food every month

Is there anything you guys would recommend to help the philodendrons push out fresh leaves? They frequently get caught up in the surrounding tissue. I tried misting more which doesn't seem to help, and me trying to aid them to unfurl properly usually just damages the leaf more:/ Thank you!🧡🌿

sooo i feel like im a pretty experienced plant parent. yet one thing ive never been able to achieve is keeping the pink on a pink princess. any tips?! i just got a greenhouse cabinet, does the heat help maybe?

Thoughts on the yellowing on the leaf? Do I leave it? I lost 2 of the big leaves this month. They started getting a black spot that slowly grew over time. Checked the roots and they are in perfect condition. Moved to a smaller pot and added a moss pole. You can see in the second picture the tiny new leaf. I have a Pink Princess with a tiny new leaf too. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Everyone! I just got this pink princess 👸, and I’m so excited because pink is my favorite color! I was hoping you could share some helpful tips and tricks you’ve picked up since I have a philodendron brasil, but this one is new to me, and I’m still learning. (Also, name suggestions are welcome!) Right now, she’s on the floor, about 1-3 feet away from a grow light, and she’s behind my humidifier, which I use for many of my other plants. I also read that they like to climb, so I put coco coir poll for her to climb onto.
