Rescued this plant that one of the neighbors threw out around the middle of November. Cleaned her up and repotted her. Less than two months later and she’s flourishing!
New leaf ⚪️✨
I noticed my philodendron white princess is starting to grow a bit funky, which probably means she needs more light. When do philos need to be repotted? Also any propagation tips? I think she's ready. Any advice is welcome, thanks!
**Help** Just bought a neon and Brazil philodendron from my local nursery a week ago. They potted them for me that day and I did my first watering a few days ago. I am completely new to taking care of plants. Do they look okay? I’m terrified of root rot because a lot of my plants died that way. They are about 5ft away from a north facing window and this app says it’s not bright enough. I don’t want to kill them and want to make sure I’m caring for them properly. I got grow lights to help with the light but not sure if I need it or how long to keep it on or how far away the light should be from the plant so I don’t burn the leaves. I know it’s a lot of questions. Any advice will help and be much appreciated.
I’m fairly certain that the new leaf has rolled up in itself. I didn’t even know this was a thing! Can I fix this? It feels hard… ***edit*** I carefully helped this leaf (new pic added); it was poking inside another leaf. Once I took care of that, she easily unraveled. Not sure if I was supposed to to mess with it, but it was stuck for over a month.
I got this new philodendron burgandy today and was wondering if this was rust. If so how can I take care of it?
New leaf on my baby sprout stalk of Philo Glad-hand. Does this mean my plant is variegated!?
I hope this helps me be a good momma to this snowdrift philo; I made her her own plant hanger so she can sit above my fish tank, right under the light ^.^
I don't know if anyone remembers, but a while back I made a post on the reason this guy hasn't grown much and would keep browning with each new growth. I downsized to this pot, and I'm proud to announce we have our first healthy looking new growth. I'm very excited and I just wanted to thank all of you. In that time, I also added a plant bell over it and a dish of water under it to trap humidity until recently when I got a new humidifier to help all my little guys. Has been a slow process, but surely coming up!
Does anyone know if my PPP will keep growing if I cut the top to propagate? I’ve never propagated a philodendron like her before so I’m curious what will happen with the original plant. I love the variegation on her upper half and she’s getting to big for the space so I want to seperate her.
My Pink Princess has an orange leaf! What can I do to help it? What's going on with it? Going to be looking up for research tonight but posting here first as it will be quicker! Tysm!
Caramels and lauterbachiana are so cute
