I realize I never introduced my new white princess that I did indeed obtain!
Got this pink princess from a nursery a few weeks ago. I admit I think I overwatered it at first, but when I first noticed I took it out of the soil and repotted in a chunkier mix. It didn’t have root rot, but now it just seems to be getting worse? I’m not seeing any pests or anything, and I haven’t watered since I repotted a few days ago. Advice??
Just got this beautiful bipennifolium in the mail yesterday! 😻
Bought this discounted philodendron glad hand when it was not doing well. A year later and it’s thriving and my favorite! It’s time to repot 😬 Any advice?
Hey everyone, I just purchased a large philodendron from Costco! It seems to be happy, but I’ve noticed that the pointed edges of the leaves are dripping water occasionally, and there is water lining the edge of the underside of the leaves. Is this normal?
Found Micans at Lowe’s today… I gasped when I saw them and the watering lady laughed lol
Potential new philodendron parent? 🫣 I found a white princess at a lil ol midwestern Kroger of all places! I think I’m getting her tonight if they haven’t sold out 👀 All tips, tricks and advice are welcome!
Good morning x I’m interested in what fertilisers you use for your Philo babies. I have a Tortum that is being a diva and I think they need something more than what I am feeding them. I am using Houseplant Focus at the moment x
Anyone know if I should take these little plants out? I am new to plants and I have no idea what they are. They’re sprouting next to my PPP
So I got a clipping of this lovely plant and it wasn’t a clean cut (ripped off plant) and after a few days looked slimy at the bottom of node… so I chopped off the damaged bottom of node and started fresh (added some plant food to water this time) will she make it?? Why are the leaves doing this? 🥲🥲
Hello plant parents, I bought this white princess cheap as the leaf is wilting, I am still learning so wonder if this is because it was over/under watered? Is it best to cut it of lower down the stem and say goodbye to that leaf? Thank you in advance, it’s really amazing to see so many beautiful healthy plants!🤗
Does anyone have any good tips for caring for a I think it’s called a ruby philodendron?
I have a Dragons tail Philodendron, here is a picture from a couple weeks ago. She is super healthy but I can get much more growth. She’s in front of a window that gets pretty good sun (6 hours a day but I have her to the side so it’s indirect. I water when she’s 75% dry. No rot and no falling leaves. I have a fertilizer stick in her pot currently, She has been repotted since this pot, this is from when I first got her, and she has also moved from the location in the picture. And tips?
Does anyone know if this is a Bloody Mary Philodendron?
Hi everyone! I just picked this up at my local Kroger and I am trying to figure out if it’s a “true” White Princess or not. Is there a way to tell?
variegation station! pink princess philodendron and philodendron birkin in the first picture, another pink princess, a philodendron white knight, and ruby “tineke” ficus elastica!
Hi friends! I’m so excited to introduce my newest and first “rare” philodendron! He is a little guy right now but I plan on growing this philodendron melanochrysum to full maturity. I got him Tuesday 6/6 repotted him in a nice airy medium and added a moss pole Saturday 6/10. His roots look SO good and I’m already seeing his aerial roots starting to grow toward the moss pole! We did have a little bit of a rough start tho. I didn’t realize he had thrips when purchased. this is why his leaves look a little damaged. I was luckily able to get rid of them before they spread. If anyone has any tips for this guy lmk! :)
Hi. This is my new baby. Its a heart leaf philo. I am new to all of this and was wondering how I can make this plant more full. I just purchased her a few days ago and put the sticks in to hold it up a little. Any advice will be sooo appreciated. Thank you! 🤍🪴
Hey y’all. I’ve had this Pink Princess for a little over a month now. The place I got it from had it in a place with little to no natural lighting so it already didn’t look great. I was so excited when it finally popped a new leaf only for it to come out looking like this 😅 Does any one know what is the cause of this, and what I can do to promote larger foliage and more variegation? It gets indirect sunlight most of the day.
Hey guys! I’ve had my philodendron for a month or two. The leaves look super healthy, i’m just not sure if the stems are supposed to be this long, or if it’s getting leggy? Am i just being paranoid?
