little shower — this thing is getting so big 🥹
Does anyone know what kind of philodendron this is? The app scanned it as a blushing phlio but I was a little unsure because of the colouring on the newer leaves.
I chopped my pink princess as looked kinda sparse. Do you think it is ready to replant or should I wait. Both pieces immediately started growing.
Soo after a year or so of having her I think my white knight just threw out a tricolor leaf? Is this a thing?
I’m not sure the exact philodendron this is… please help!!
i just got my first philodendrons! im absolutely obsessed ✨ any secrets to their care?
Check out my PPP. Why did it skip those two stems and not produce a leaf? There’s one at the very top and even one coming out the stem of the top one. If I snipped like a mm of the ends of the un-leafed stems, would that rile them into making me leaves? I don’t like how it looks without leaves there!
Hello! I just bought this plant and I think it’s a Philodendron Birkin house plant, but i’m not sure. Any ideas?
Hi Planters, Anyone ever deal with these real tiny dead/dry spots on philo leaves? Pic 1 (the big holes) have existed on that leaf FOREVER and grown only really really slowly (have had this plant for 6 months). Now I'm noticing spots emerging elsewhere. 😭 Fungus? Natural spotting? No pests that I could find, btw, already checked. Pls help I love him 😂
New leaf is unrolled! But should I be worried that one of the smaller plants has a yellow leaf? Had it for about 1 month. In south facing window. I did decide to move it just this week to a south West window (Planta light meter = part shade). Water - been letting it drier out on top.
Has anyone ever had their PPP put out TWO new leaves at once!?!? I went on vacation and came home to this baby putting out two new leaves and I have never seen anything like this before!! I was so confused when it first started to happen and as it grew, I was elated to see its TWO new babies! This was after I repotted her because I was worried the soil wasn’t draining well enough and now she is sooo happy!!
Please help. I got a couple of dying plants on clearance from a big box store, including this big Philodendron. It had little bugs in the soil, a slug, and spotting on the leaves. I treated it for pests and put it in bright light on an east facing window. Does anyone know what is causing those spots or what I can do to ensure it survives? Any advice is welcome as this is my first large plant.
This beauty started my philodendron addiction 🥰
ok in all my research of what this philodendron could be, today is the first time i’ve come across “philodendron eva” which i believe to be what i have here. as an aside, i’ve been noticing the new leaves have been getting stuck like the second photo a lot but i *know* it’s not low humidity — i don’t have AC and this sits in an open window. weird!
Hi all, I used to own this philodendron back when I was in college and since then I have never been able to find anything like it. Any chance anyone knows what kind it is? Thanks!🫶🏼
What’s more beautiful than a new baby leaf? 🍃 I’m thrilled with how well my white princess philo is doing! 💚🤍
When my birken produces this beaut of a leaf, I’ve had so much white it’s nice to see green coming through for a change
Is this mold?? This is what the draining holes at the bottom of the 14”inch pot in which my Philodendron Red Congo lives. Should I dig him out and change the soil?
Going to post here as I’m wondering if this is potentially just a feature of the plant. When I first bought this Golden Crocodile, it had pests that I treated it for. That was multiple months ago, but recently the plant has developed these weird patches along the leaves. Anyone with a Golden Crocodile or similar Philodendron like a Ring of Fire have these issues? I would love advice as this is one of my oldest plants and I’ve yet to have one completely die. Attached are multiple photos in different lights to hopefully showcase the freckling along the leaves as it is pretty subtle.
My Birkin had new leaves when I bought it, but those did not fully produce/open before dying off. It hasn’t pushed out any new leaves either. Thoughts??
