My Philodendron Splendid keeps giving me this double growth, I can’t figure out why. At first I was told it needs more humidity. I recently introduced a humidifier which I run for a few hours daily, added a moss pole, chunky good soil. It’s still a baby plant but you can see how it just isn’t gone down because it’s pushes one leaf then a second before the first one’s even done. Any tips would be great!

Hmm yeah it seems like the plant produced a new leaf, which stayed stuck long enough for the plant to then push out another one. With philodendron in general, I usually mist new leaves every day or two. Too much misting can cause fungal issues, so don’t over-do it (or run a fan) but so far, this has helped new leaves to unfurl quicker and not get stuck. But great job with the care for it - chunky soil, the moss pole, and the humidifier are great! Keeping the moss pole moist can definitely boost the humidity as well.

It happens pretty quick when it produces the next which is odd. It’ll progress halfway then start the next I’ll try misting it a little more, I do every so often for my plants Thank you! I’ll keep at that then, and maybe cut back on the fertilizer thinking about it more to not boost its growth so quick
