I havent had this plant for very long, so not sure much about philodendrons or what kind it is. Ive just noticed these spot, is this a pest/disease or just a natural thing? Any tips on caring for this plant would be great too Thanks

    Quite possibly scale…..I haven’t dealt with it so I can’t give any tips on dealing with it. May also be why you only have one leaf……

    These are extra floral nectaries (EFNs) they are little scars left by nectar that the plant produces. They are harmless. If you want to prevent them you can wipe away the little drops of nectar on the leaves and petioles
