Please help! I have found these on my Xanadu Philodendron. I think the white thing is mealy bug nest? Or maybe spider mites? Idk. Then I found this thing in the soil. Full disclosure: I am seeing pests all over my in-ground outdoor plants, specifically mealy worms, 100% correctly identified, but they are on the opposite side of my house and I’m careful (though not fool proof) to clean up before entering another plant’s space. So far I am spraying all of the leaves with alcohol/dawn solution then rinsing, spraying neem oil. I am repotting and was going to water with neem oil solution. We have bees, butterflies, lizards and hummingbirds (and whatever else) I do not want to harm. At any rate, I am grateful for whatever advice anyone can give. Thanks in advance.

    Those are millipedes on the cardboard. They live in the soil and are common at nurseries where plants sit on the ground. They easily climb in through the drain holes. They are not harmful. They aerate the soil like worms. They are a nuisance popping out when in your house. You can buy beneficial insects like ladybugs and praying mantis if you have a lot of pests in the garden and want to use less pesticides. I can’t tell if that is the web of a common spider with its prey wrapped up. When in doubt, treat it as hostile. 😁 Hose down everything especially between and under the leaves since the plant is full.
